Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Blackhawks '13

They'd battled long and they were down.
It looked like a certain defeat.
Time against them in Boston town,
With home advantage hard to beat.
But seconds of 76,
They scored the stun of victory,
To be the true champion ice picks,
That Boston thought that it would be.
The vanquished gone, the victors stayed
To hold the 35 pound prize,
Passed among the team, blade to blade,
A traditional exercise.

The prize to take - the Stanley Cup.
The Blackhawks beat the Bruins up.
