Flamingos - Chile to LP Zoo

We flamingos hail from Chile,
Now reside at Lincoln Park Zoo.
Standing on one leg looks silly,
But pulling your leg - we don't do.
Plankton and algae we do eat.
Our bills are shaped to scoop up
Goodies; the water does retreat
Out of us like a draining cup.
If it's a really windy day,
Into a shelter we do go.
Keepers don't want us blown away,
The Windy City - doncha know!

Look real close, you can see us wink.
Humans really tickle us pink.
