Causing loads of energy waste,
And climate chaos - doncha care!
But on this Unc Sam is two faced.
The federal government talks
Lots about saving energy.
And for cronies and pork it hocks
Future for current spending spree.
A broad energy retrofit -
It's common sense it needs a fix.
Left to politicians - to wit -
More and more waste - tiz politics.
