Put a poem in your pocket,
And carry it throughout the day.
Maybe mean minded might mock it,
But artistic words have a way
Of making you the better feel
As you journey through space and time,
Sensing the beauty truly real,
Loving life in rhythm and rhyme.
Even bad poetry is good,
Because tiz reaching out to touch
Another, to be understood,
An aim we humans want so much.
