Sense Sonnet - Steamer

Alligator Snapping Turtle

That trepassing human just stood
Up to no good in my home creek.
So as any polite one would,
I gave his boot a little tweak.
Slowly he lowered his bugged eyes.
We gave each other a long stare.
I pondered an attack surprise
At his private parts hanging there.
But that would just bring more like him
To hassle me, and so I chose
Not to bring trouble on a whim.
Better to just avoid bozos.

Alligator snapping turtles
Too oft must face human hurdles.
