Sense Sonnet - Chiller

Wake Up Call

Raising teenagers can be hell.
The first rule is there are no rules
Guaranteeing it will go well.
To teenagers, parents are fools.
Soon science will provide the way
To raise a teenager in peace.
When hitting the thirteenth birthday,
Put the kid in a pod you lease.
There, the kid's body, mind and soul
Will develop in programmed stead.
And for you, the parental role
Will be of bliss and not of dread.

Teenagers need to sleep plenty,
And then wake up at age twenty.
