Health Hell

I had a recent surgery.
An FDA approved device,
Some mesh was left inside of me,
Said to help me to heal up nice.
At home a few days later though,
I woke up and was in such pain.
Right to the ER I did go.
They had to operate again.
The mesh maker as it turned out
Had a record of mesh abuse,
Known by the feds and meds no doubt,
But still approved for patient use.

Living in my surgical mesh,
Bacteria eating my flesh.
