Hurt Alert

Washing one's hands - a simple thing,
And proven to stave off disease.
But the main culprits neglecting
Hand health should know better - puleeze!
Adults and mainly the male breed
Do not scrub hands the way they should.
The nanny state can fill this need,
Making it law for public good,
That each one should get an implant
In each hand that would monitor,
And when nasties go on a rant,
One's unwashed hands would get real sore.

A jolt or two - one understands
That one should really wash one's hands.
