Sense Sonnet - Chiller

Seams to Stretch

Look at them swarming through the doors,
An attack on the outlet mall.
Fired up to conquer 90 stores,
Greed on the faces of them all.
Some drove for hours to get here.
Foot sore will serve some of them right.
But it is that time of year
When merchandise suffers the plight
Of shoppers doing grab and paw,
Ogling the labels and price tags,
Feeling the fabric with clinched claw,
The eternal trying on jags.

Being an outlet mall blouse is
Holiday hell, but that's clothes biz.
