Kids Being Kids

I have raised my children up right.
Young curiosity is good.
The world out there is full of spite,
And moreso in this neighborhood.
It was just educational
To make explosive devices.
I told them to be real careful.
True learning takes sacrifices.
So what if a few mailboxes
Got blown up. It was worth the pranks
To illustrate paradoxes
That cool parents never get thanks.

Making pipe bombs is what they did.
All just part of being a kid,
