Clouded in Sun

There was strange new activity
That was occurring from the sun.
Unknown scientifically,
Massive solar bursts had begun.
The normal stuff of solar rays
Was coming in an altered state,
So different in many ways.
All we could do was watch and wait.
But watching went from light to dark.
Panic began to spread worldwide.
The future was a question mark,
Affecting first the open eyed.

Exposure caused all creature kind,
With eyes, on Earth to become blind.
