Sense Sonnet - Pumper

Poe Party

Edgar Allen Poe's resting place
Is in a Baltimore graveyard.
For years a tradition does grace
His birthday in a fond regard.
A half filled bottle of cognac
And three red roses set beside
His gravestone. And there is no lack
Of curious, but all abide
The secrecy, and leave it so.
Thus whether in heaven or hell,
Death brought you to life, Mr. Poe.
Perk up your sense of taste and smell.

Quoth your Raven, "Forevermore,"
"Happy Birthday and sniff and pour."
