Sense Sonnet - Chiller

The Empire Strikes

Around the Empire State Building,
Bermuda triangle type stuff
Occurs as a day by day thing,
As if city life weren't enough.
Vehicles that are driving by,
Their engines just suddenly stop.
There is no explanation why.
An eerie silence seems to drop.
Moments later, the engines start
In unison by means unknown.
Some say the landmark's being smart,
Teasing within its twilight zone.

Unexplained in the Big Apple,
The Empire State Building's zapful.
