 Missed Again!

A kookaburra bird in flight

Sees a human hunter below.

Then a boomerang comes in sight,

So to a wattle tree does go

The kookaburra very fast,

Protected in its branches till

The flying boomerang has passed,

Missing the object of its kill.

The kookaburra then does sound

Its call that it is well known for,

Heard by the hunter on the ground,

As heard so many times before.

The disappointed human's grim,

The kookaburra laughs at him.
