 Hard Rule for Me

Wedding invitations, I get

A lot, but very few attend.

No one ever seems too upset.

Best wishes I normally send.

We girls have form of Golden Rule,

Dress right, but don't out dress the bride.

Unfortunately, I'm one who'll

Never be sure that I've complied.

For when to a wedding I must

Attend, I always dress my way

Of style and grace and poise, and trust,

The bride I do not out display.

When I attend a wedding scene,

I'm scrutinized, I am the Queen.
