 Journaled Journey

A journal had been kept by my

Great grandfather which I did find

Hidden in another book, I

Found its contents did blow my mind.

Apparently, long, long ago

My ancestors had the resource

To flee away from their home, so

Their journey took them on a course

To this place, I was born and raised.

Their journey was quite hard and long.

Reading about it left me dazed,

No reason for it to be wrong.

From afar came my family,

I am a descendant E.T.
