Sense Sonnet - Tickler
Family Game
Mom reminded Dad that it be
Take me, the kid, to Dad's work day.
Mom kissed my cheek, and Dad took me
Off to his office where I'd play
My tricks and pranks on people there,
Which made them all so very mad.
But amused me, so did not care.
At end of day, I looked for Dad.
But he'd left for home I was told.
I wasn't too surprised, I guess.
Surely no grudges would I hold.
Told the cab driver my address.
Back home, folks gone, just as I knew.
But I'll find them, I always do.
