 My Unpardoned Interruption

I just had to interrupt them,

No apology that I did,

Causing a whole bunch of mayhem.

But after all, I'm just a kid,

And interrupt when I have got

Something very important to

Act in a manner, maybe not

Good manners, but still I must do.

They should understand, but instead

They were very upset with me,

That I had disturbed them in bed,

A welcome presence, I not be.

My interruption made them mad.

Now I'm grounded by Mom and Dad.
