 Graduate

Graduation from college is

Supposed to be a happy thing.

But I'm not feeling so, gee whiz,

'Bout my future I'm worrying.

Years spent on being sold on why,

Armed with my liberal arts degree,

All the world was waiting for my

Problem solutions, thanks to me.

Promised that it was all well worth

Accumulating huge loan debt.

But now that I am back on Earth,

Screws tightening in my mindset.

Reality more evident,

Now viewed from my parent's basement.
