 Wishing Well Wish

As I am walking to school, I

Remember it's report card day.

I'm pretty sure that all of my

Grades will be bad on clear display.

And of course the folks have to see

And sign my report card, so I'm

Gonna, in lots of trouble, be,

Grounded to study much more time.

Walking through the park, I come to

The wishing well, maybe I could

Wish for a long shot to come true.

Can't hurt, and maybe turn out good.

Throw a nickel in and wish hard

I get an all A report card.
