 Change of Opinion

At first opinions were a mix,

But quickly mine be same as her,

Especially on politics.

Both now be liberals for sure.

But then came twenty twenty four

And Trump running for President.

I supported him to the core,

'Bout this to my wife, kept silent.

After the election, one night,

Drunk, I told my wife the truth be,

I had changed from the left to right.

My wife's opinion changed of me.

Opinion change caused me great strife,

Apparent, when I told my wife.
