Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Two, Passing in the Night
She is walking south on the beach.
He is walking on the beach north.
Walking alone through the night, each
Sense sea waters move back and forth.
The sound of waves rolling upon
The sand, where the sight of shells shine,
The picking up phenomenon.
The taste and the smell of sea brine.
Both she and he walking, so sense,
And as they near, sense other too.
A smile and a nod, each presents,
The least but most that each will do.
Such brief encounter, he and she
Walk on in fading memory.
