Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Vote for Global Warming

Is global warming true or not?

This Chicagoan hopes it's true,

At least some degree, not a lot,

Just enough global warming to

Make weather in Chicago be

Like San Diego weather now.

No more of harsh winters for me,

No more need for any snow plow.

Ice caps might melt, oceans might rise,

But Lake Michigan still the same.

And anytime wanted, one lies

On the beach sand, suntan one's aim.

Chicago wind turned tropic breeze

All year around, tickling palm trees.
