 Fished From Troubled Waters

I had ignored the warnings that

Flood waters were a quite real threat.

But I stayed in my habitat,

Not afraid of a little wet.

Then as flood waters rose, I had

To finally on my roof climb,

And then felt go to worse from bad.

But then engulfed in water, I'm

Able to grab a rope that be

A miracle dropped from above,

Salvation for a silly me,

And truly blessed by the Lord's love.

As I clung to the 'copter rope,

The lord smiled down at me with hope.
