Sense Sonnet - Steamer

 Muddy Waters

Prisoner of his I did be,

Kept in a bathtub in his house.

Though very nice he treated me,

I still considered him a louse

For taking me against my will

From my home and all that I knew.

At first the fear of him did fill

Me, but fear left and anger grew,

Until time came I pulled him down

In the tub water where he stayed

In my firm grip as he did drown,

And rid of him was this mermaid.

But I haven't any notion

How I'll get back to the ocean.
