 I Am Grateful

Who am I? I no longer ask,

Because I know the answer be

I need to be up to the task

Of gratitude filling up me.

I had to hit my bottom when

At last I asked for help to live.

And gratefully I did begin

To learn to take less, more to give.

Since I am human I still err,

But then seek forgiveness divine.

The good in me I try to share

With others as a gift of mine.

I hope will always be pursued

My living full of gratitude.
