 Wedding Called Off

Max and Buffy decided to

Have their wedding during lunch break.

Off to the church to say, "I do,"

On a bus the couple did take.

Once at the church they waited for

The pastor to come and to say

Words to wed them forevermore,

Starting on this, their wedding day.

A phone call was made 'twixt and 'tween

The pastor and the school from where

Buffy and Max had last been seen,

Both of them were first graders there.

Then the wedding was called off by

Parents of the young gal and guy.
