 Folks' Fault

Why can't I live somewhere else, I

Asked Mom and Dad when I was young.

I just got their frown in reply,

So on that subject, bit my tongue.

But it got me to thinking that

The folks pissed off powers that be,

Were sent to penal habitat,

And by bad luck, along came me.

A sentence for both their lives whole

Must have been given Mom and Dad,

With no chance of getting parole.

They must have done something real bad.

I'll check them out before next birth,

Make sure the folks are not on Earth.
