 You Better Me

My mind and flesh are often weak,

So what I do and think are wrong.

Too often I do fail to seek

Your guidance that keeps my soul strong.

I know I am a sinner who

You went to the cross to forgive.

But sinning, I oft think and do,

Not the way you want me to live.

You are my Savior and I need

To keep You always close with me,

So any and all thought and deed

Of mine will with Your blessing be.

My Lord Jesus, to you I pray

To help me better live God's way.
