Sense Sonnet - Tickler
My Turn
Being Count Dracula you'd think
The wife would give me the night off
To have fun finding blood to drink.
But no, the wife at this did scoff,
And said other plans she had made,
So now I had to take my turn.
Not wanting to hear her tirade,
I gave in but did a slow burn,
That doing this was beneath me,
And hoped this night would be done soon.
As a vexed vampire I did be
Surrounded under the full moon.
It's a real pain having to do it,
Taking my turn at bat baby sit.
