 Class Clown

Monday, my teacher asked the class

What food preparing we did do

Over the weekend, most did pass.

But I the class clown just had to

Give the teacher, who was real strict

On correct pronunciation,

A wry replay that would inflict

A bad joke on everyone.

So seriously I did start

On baking from a recipe,

And at the end I did impart

The punchline expected from me.

"Synonym rolls I tried to bake,"

"Just like my grammar used to make."
