"Incy Wincy Spider" did be

My favorite nursery rhyme,

When Mama would sing it to me,

And which she sang many a time,

Especially when it would rain,

And I could not go out to play.

Mama would sing this song again,

And always brighten up my day.

And the song taught a lesson well.

Failures in life would fall indeed.

But from each failure I could tell

How next time to better succeed.

Whenever a spider I spy,

Hearing Mama sing makes me cry.
