Sense Sonnet - Acher

 Hilda's Night In

Saturday night home all alone,

Hilda has no where else to go,

So she turns on the gramophone

To dance away on tippy toe.

She dons her bright red leotard,

White frill of lace about her waist,

And dance slippers she does regard

Giving her feet feel to be graced.

Then 'round the room Hilda does dance,

Moving weightlessly through the air,

Eyes closed and smiling, in a trance

As Ginger Rogers with red hair.

Enthusiasm does abound

In Hilda, every inch and pound.
