Sense Sonnet - Steamer

 Judging Myself

Quite busy the devil does be,

All the time all around the world,

As often judged by pious me.

Devilish thoughts and acts unfurled,

And I of course do smugly say,

"I told you so" for what it's worth.

The devil rules all night, all day,

Causing a constant hell on Earth.

So I sing my judgmental tune

To any and all who would hear.

But hypocrite, I'm not immune,

And the devil does oft appear.

Whenever I have urge to sin,

I know I've let the devil in.
