Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Resilient Me

When just a wee seed I was blown

By winds across the isle to where

I suc"seed"ed by being sown

In a driveway, not sure I'd fare

Well there with all the foot and wheel.

But Mom Nature saw fit to let

Me grow into a plant with zeal.

First came my green leaves, then to get

Yellow and purple blooms to show

Over and over through the year,

Now lasting through some freeze and snow.

Resilient, I still appear.

As pay forward, this pansy sends

My seeds with love into the winds.
