Sense Sonnet - Chiller
Time Out
From time to time they let me out
Of the closet they keep me in.
Fireside, I get to sit near 'bout
To warm my bones, I've lost my skin.
I'm comfy in my rocking chair,
Reading my fav'rite book by Poe.
They allow me privacy there.
I appreciate these times so.
I don't blame them, after all they
No matter what are my children.
In the closet kept hid away,
Where I do be their skeleton.
They let me sit here for a while.
Upon my skull I form a smile.
