Sense Sonnet - Tickler
Eating in Bed
I woke up in my coffin bed,
Some old Egyptian curse no doubt,
Guessing a long time I'd been dead.
I tried but I could not get out.
A lot of stuff had been put in,
Including cookies and so I
Unwrapped and munching did begin,
And ate up the cookie supply.
When living, I never did eat
In bed, because it made a mess
Of droppings from my head to feet.
But now I really could care less.
When some grave robbers did find me,
A crummy mummy I did be.
