Sense Sonnet - Steamer
Ought Not Thought
Hot chile pepper I did eat,
Thinking in error it was mild.
Then my mouth erupted in heat
Like a volcano spewing wild.
Nothing else 'round to eat or drink.
I was filled with anxiety.
Maybe some cool air, I did think.
Thinking - not a strong suit for me,
As I went over to a fan,
And sat down right in front of it.
Got my face as close as I can,
Too close as blade and tongue did hit.
I should have ceased and desisted,
Now a bad case of tongue twisted.
