Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Comings and Goings
Into the spider's web does fly
A fly who finds itself quite stuck,
And instinct says it soon will die.
Just nature's way dishing out luck,
Bad for one, good for the other.
The fly struggles to no avail,
Falls prey to the spider's smother.
One to succeed and one to fail,
One is predator, one is prey,
Always has been, always will be,
Just the plain truth of nature's way,
Maintaining simple harmony.
On the fly, the spider does sup,
When a bird gulps the spider up.
