Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Torn Soul

I have to admit that I find

Most of my waking hours be

Concerned with my body and mind

That I identify as me.

Concern about my soul tends to

Be only when in church I sit.

Most likely I will never do

Achieve sainthood I must admit.

But when asleep I often seem

To be concerned with my soul more.

Reminders oft come in a dream

To better search my soul I tore.

I hope I ever have the goal

That when torn I restitch my soul.
