Sense Sonnet - Steamer
Placation
Some mountains upset did go to
Mother Nature to complain that
Why couldn't motherhood they do.
The mountains felt quite deprived at
Not being able to give birth
Like little, lowly mice could give.
Surely a mountain had more worth
In birthing more young mounts to live.
Making mountains out of molehills
Was how Mother Nature did feel
'Bout these exaggerated ills,
But she agreed to make one deal.
These mountains labored on one morn,
One silly little mouse was born.
