Sense Sonnet Acher
Bird's Eye View
I be a seabird flying by,
Seeking a refuge from the storm.
I have in mind a rock, then I
See that rock and on it a form,
A human who is standing there,
From a small boat about to sink.
The winds do buffet me in air.
Best that I do fly on, I think,
For another safe place to be.
That human is on that rock stuck,
And cannot fly away like me.
Odds are that human's found bad luck.
Later when the storm is all done,
I fly back. On that rock's no one.
