Sense Sonnet - Pumper
Played a Hunch
A leopard grabbed a bird in flight,
And was about to eat for lunch,
When the bird, aware of its plight,
Chirped to the leopard on a hunch,
"Hey leopard, if you set me free,"
"A magic feather I will give."
"And if you stick it on your head,"
"You can fly, if you let me live."
The leopard thought this such a deal,
And took the feather from the bird.
The bird, saved from being a meal,
Did think to itself, "How absurd!"
"Hey leopard, best of luck to you,"
And off to freedom the bird flew.
