 The Pink Triangle

The pink triangle, badge of shame,

First used in Nazi Germany

On gay male prisoners with aim

As the reason imprisoned be.

Thousands of these prisoners were

Considered to be worst of worst.

Great atrocities did occur

Upon these men that fate had  cursed.

And even when the war did end,

West and East Germany's still chose

To condemn many and to send

Back to jail, more time to impose.

This pink triangle now is pride

To live and let live, side by side.
