Sense Sonnet - Pumper

 Otto's Mom

My son, Otto, did write a book

Telling the story of his life,

Of how being looked down on took

A lot of love through times of strife.

He gave me, his Mom, credit for

Guiding him safely through the grim,

Dark days when all the rain would pour.

He was so small, but I grabbed him,

And kept him safely by my side,

Till he grew up, a big bug, who

Wrote a best seller far and wide.

So many times I've read it through.

So proud of my son I do be.

A happy ladybug is me.
