Sense Sonnet - Acher

 Not Home for Christmas

I went on a December cruise,

Fell overboard and washed ashore

A desert isle with not a bruise,

Figured a long wait was in store.

Found enough to eat, fruit and all.

But no other humans around,

Because the island was quite small

And tropical in sight and sound.

I did what I thought I could do

To help rescue, wrote S.O.S.

In sand, and lit a bonfire too.

How long I'd be here, who could guess?

December 25th must be.

On the beach was a Christmas tree.
