 Teapot Repurposed

Grandma and Grandpa loved the sea.

When Grandpa died his ashes were

In this silver teapot to be

For daily sprinkling to occur,

By Grandma taking the pot to

Walk each day down by the seashore,

With pouring some ashes to strew,

A daily faithful loving chore,

Into the seawater so that

Over Grandma's remaining life,

Grandpa moved to sea habitat,

Someday to be joined by his wife.

Came the time after Grandma died,

She and Grandpa poured side by side.
