Over two thousand years ago

There came upon the Earth, God's son.

From Jesus Christ we came to know

That human goodness could be done.

When God called Jesus back to home,

Jesus beseeched God to forgive

All the evil allowed to roam

Through the centuries we did live.

There has been faith in prophecy

That in God's time, God would return

The son of God, savior to be

Of sin free life the good do yearn.

It be darkest just before dawn.

Salvation soon shall be upon.
