 Retirement Home

When I retired from Santa's shop,

This elf decided to look for

Some warmer digs so made a stop

At a cottage with a green door,

Deep in the woods of Emerald Isle.

For sale, I bought the cottage from

A leprechaun with a sly smile.

Told elves up North, all were welcome.

And on each Christmas Eve I do

Get a visit from some old friends,

The herd of reindeer with guess who!

Retirement has great dividends.

A happy retired elf I is,

Baking cookies for Keebler's biz.
