 Fruit of the Doom?

In the Garden of Eden, Eve

Picked forbidden fruit from a tree,

Causing she and Adam to grieve,

Since evicted were she and he.

So Eve did pick what kind of fruit?

Some say a grape, some say a fig,

Some say a mushroom the pursuit.

Others say 'twas a wheat sprig.

A banana has made the list,

And a pomegranate also.

The theories ever will persist.

There is no way to really know.

No no fruit plucked by Eve, I say

Apple be her pluck of that day.
